What's new, Magoo?

Posted by Holy-Howard - May 22nd, 2011

It's been almost a years since my last update and I apologize. Keeping this blog ( and my site for that matter) up to date is not one of my strong points. I would like to tell you it's because I'm busy working on LoP3.2 but alas real life is keeping me from finishing the series.

For the past three years I've been working at an advertising agency while also going to a school for digital-media.

My finals are now in full motion and at the end of summer hopefully I'm going to be a professional webdesigner and webprogrammer.

This of course makes progress in Lop3.2 very slow and at weekends I'm mostly too exhausted on staring at a computer all day programming. For the last year I was working on many different engines for games and animation because I just had no time for a big project.
At the moment I'm experimenting on a little jump and run game - very exiting because it my very first attempt and the engine looks promising. The good thing about a little project like that is you can work in small takes while on a game like LoP you can waste your entire saturday afternoon working on one little puzzle.

I apologize for keeping you waiting for so long and hope you understand my situation. I'm still planning to finish the game but it is way too early to estimate a proper release date.
Below you can glimpse at the first draft of my jump and run game.

You smell like poo, Mr.Magoo.

Actually *living* your *life*? HOW DARE YOU, SIR?

Each Pliskin gets more and more complex- it's understandable. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Best of luck!

If you need me I'll be asleep until the next Pliskin game. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Screw it, I'm bored.......hurry it up

Well,Mr.Malcman98 if he hurrys up and finishes the LAST game early it's going to be a steaming pile of poo so it's a good thing it's taking so long so he can make it as good as he can.

Real life comes first. Take all the time you need.

True... I get that. I have made some small games too that takes a little amount of time to make and is still fun. I have worked for a half year on a flash game that can be completed in 2-5 minutes. It's very time consuming.

Nice to know you're still around! Will be anxiously waiting for your next Pliskin game. Take all the time you need for it :)
